No vinegar soak, no white film. Ready out of the pack.
Naturals through brights, on the 26″ single.
The pack number is the braid you get. Ladder: 16–36 inch.
Built for chair time.
Pre-stretched and feathered, so prep stays yours. Holds a hot-water set. Low shed. The fiber runs smoother than modacrylic, so grip takes an install or two to dial in.
What it’s made of.
EZBRAID is drawn from SPETRA fiber — polypropylene and polyester in a single strand, with no alkaline factory coating. That coating is what the vinegar soak exists to wash off, so EZBRAID skips the step. Independent U.S. testing is underway, and the panels will publish whole.
The full testing answer is in the FAQ →Find a shelf near you.

FAQ
Is EZBRAID Kanekalon?
No. Kanekalon is a brand name for modacrylic fiber, which is made with acrylonitrile. EZBRAID's SPETRA fiber is PP + PET — a different polymer family, with no acrylonitrile. That's also why it feels and grips differently in the hand.
Do I need to soak it before installing?
No soak step. The vinegar-soak ritual exists to wash an alkaline factory coating off conventional synthetic hair. SPETRA ships without that coating: out of the pack, ready to braid. If you like a rinse as personal preference, it won't hurt the fiber.
Will my scalp still itch?
Itch has three causes: fiber coating, install tension, and product buildup over the weeks. EZBRAID removes the first — there's no alkaline coating. Tension is between you and your braider (say something; tight doesn't mean better), and buildup is maintenance. No fiber can promise zero itch; we removed the fiber's share of it.
What did Consumer Reports find?
Consumer Reports tested an EZBRAID product by name and reported detectable heavy metals, as it did across nearly all braiding hair tested. Our CEO answered on the record: “we do not intentionally add” these substances, and we are “expanding U.S. third-party testing.” It's the right question to ask. Our answer will be published test panels, not adjectives: independent U.S. testing is in progress, and the results will publish whole.
Where can I buy EZBRAID?
Beauty-supply stores across the U.S. carry EZBRAID. The locator above finds shelves near your ZIP — inventory varies, so call ahead. Verified online retailers are listed in the same section.
How many packs do I need?
Most full installs use 5–8 packs. Waist-length knotless: usually 5–6. Your braider's count wins; bring one extra pack rather than run one short.
What do the lengths mean?
EZBRAID is labeled by folded length: the pack number is roughly the finished braid. The ladder is 16, 20, 26, 30, and 36 inch — 26 is the most stocked. Some brands label the unfolded strand instead, so their 52 inch is about our 26. Compare braids, not pack numbers.
